A giant in the Acadia community has passed away. Following the passing earlier today of Arthur L. Irving, Acadia has lost its most vigorous defender, ardent ambassador, enthusiastic cheerleader, and generous benefactor.

In an inspiring display of student leadership and commitment to the future of Acadia University, the Acadia Students' Union (ASU) has made a $2 million gift to the Build: The Student Centre campaign.

Acadia University has received a transformative $1 million gift from the Acadia Alumni Association that will propel the Build: The Student Centre campaign closer to its $24 million fundraising goal. The generous donation, announced during the Acadia Alumni Awards Dinner[ST1]  in Halifax on April 18, sets the stage for a reimagined student centre that will redefine the university experience on the Wolfville campus.

The Acadia University community came together recently to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Geoffrey D. Kott Athlete-Scholar Awards, a pillar of support for student-athletes striving for excellence in sports and academics.

The Acadia community rallied in November to tackle food insecurity by participating in the University’s Take Ten, Give Ten campaign as part of Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving. Contributions raised $7,000 to tackle student food insecurity on the Wolfville, Nova Scotia campus.

Acadia University announces a new award: The Rea Clark Scholarship. Established by his friends and family, the award honours Clark's contributions to the University as a student-athlete by supporting the next generation.

Thanks to the generosity of the John and Judy Bragg Foundation, up to 13 Acadia students benefit annually from the following awards, named in honour of former teachers who were Acadia alumni:
